Fertilization

We provide a five-step program to ensure a healthy and weed free lawn that can be enjoyed by the entire family and make your neighbors jealous. Our products are pet safe and applied in a timely manner to control and or prevent pasts and weeds from infesting your lawn. Our technicians take pride in the services that we provide. Our fertilizing program generally starts in April and ends in October. We provide up to five applications per season.

• First application: Fertilizer with crabgrass preventer
  Granular fertilizer with dimension, which is crabgrass preventer. This product will prevent any seeds from geminating on any soil that has been treated. We typically apply the first application in March or April.
• Second application: Fertilizer with herbicide to control weeds.
  Also granular and has Trimec herbicide with fertilizer. This herbicide will control any plants that are not grass in the traded area. Generally, we will perform this application in May.
• Third application: Fertilizer with grub control
  Merit pesticide in the granular fertilizer that is targeting grubs that are feeding on the grass roots in the lawn. We want to have this product down in June or July just before grubs are feeding on the grass roots.
• Fourth application: Slow-release fall fertilizer
  Granular fertilizer that is a slow release. This application should be down in August or September.
• Fifth application: High-potash winterizer fertilizer
  Fifth and final application should be completed before snow fall and is high potash winterizer granular fertilizer that prepares the turf for winter and will also help the turf come to life in the springtime.
